Amel means “hope” in Arabic — it is my mother’s name. Like our emblem, an orchid reblooming from a cracked base mended in gold, this foundation cultivates hope wherever it is needed : here in Québec with young people, and around the world.
Founder and manager of The Amel Foundation. I direct the fund’s donations and initiatives to carefully chosen grassroots organizations — from restorative justice for youth in Québec to humanitarian relief worldwide.

Founder of the Voix Libres charitable project.
